Halo is more than a retreat—it’s an invitation to come home to yourself.

Although we are just 30 minutes from bustling Portland on the shores of Little Sebago Lake, Halo feels a world away.

We created what you imagine while pushing through the stress of daily life. Wake to the sound of gentle waves. Sip coffee as the dawn touches your face. Here may be the first time there is nowhere you need to be and nothing you need to prove.

Just space surrounded by nature. Space to breathe. Space to heal. Space to remember who you are beneath the demands of everyday life.

In a world that constantly asks us to do more, achieve more, and move faster, many of us find ourselves exhausted, disconnected, and longing for something we can’t quite name. We crave peace. We crave purpose. We crave connection.

Founder Dori Lewin invites guests to reconnect with their true selves at Halo.

Halo was created for that moment and was born from my own reset.

I have lived the last few years raising four children, building businesses, navigating unhealthy relationships, experiencing family disconnection, and sometimes living in survival mode. I found myself on a journey of rebuilding my life from the inside out. Along the way, I discovered something profound: healing is not about starting over. It is about coming back to yourself.

The moment when you’re ready to stop merely surviving and begin living with intention again.

Whether you’re navigating stress, burnout, major life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling called to reconnect with yourself, Halo offers a sanctuary where transformation can unfold naturally. Our philosophy is simple: Regulate. Elevate. Integrate.

Throughout a variety of movements, yoga, breathwork and community, we help calm the nervous system and create a sense of inner stability. From that grounded place, energy begins to shift. Clarity emerges. New possibilities become visible. Through meaningful experiences, authentic connection, and intentional reflection, those insights become integrated into everyday life.

Little Sebago

This is not about escaping reality. It is about returning to reality with renewed clarity, deeper purpose, and a greater capacity for joy.

At Halo, healing doesn’t mean becoming someone new. It means remembering who you’ve always been. It means rediscovering the strength that life may have buried beneath responsibilities, expectations, and endless distractions. It means reconnecting with the light that has never left you. Surrounded by nature, supported by our exceptional staff and community, and guided through experiences designed to nourish the mind, body, and spirit, you’ll find yourself slowing down enough to hear your own inner wisdom again.

You’ll leave feeling lighter. More connected. More grounded. More alive.

The path of growth is not linear—it is circular, like a Halo. Again and again, we return to ourselves with greater wisdom and understanding. And perhaps most importantly, you’ll leave with a renewed understanding that everything you’ve been searching for has been within you all along.

The deepest purpose of Halo is not to take you away from your life. It is to help you return to it fully awake.

Awake to your purpose. Awake to your relationships. Awake to your potential. Awake to the beauty of being alive.
